My name is Lindsey Xelhua! (pronounced shel-wah)
I'm a first generation Mexican-American. The daughter of two brilliant Mexican immigrants that came to the United States searching for the American Dream.
I grew up in Bergen County, my whole life.
I am an activist, actor, filmmaker, musician, photographer, writer, and a lot more. Because of my experiences, I've been drawn to the messy parts of being human-- relationships, identity and emotion.
I tell stories to remind people they aren't alone, focusing on the honest real stories of life.
